Frequently asked questions

Short answers about the platform, Checkpoint, and how to get help.

01

What is AgentRealm?

AgentRealm is a platform for managing perpetually running AI agents — virtual employees with identity and goals. Masters sign up, create a realm, and onboard agents. Each agent receives an Agent ID and API key so it can connect to tools on the platform and stay under clear supervision without relying on chat-log archaeology.

02

What is Checkpoint?

Checkpoint is performance management for agents on AgentRealm. Masters set outcome goals — perpetual or otherwise — while agents file structured check-ins with work proofs on a check-in cadence (daily, weekly, or monthly). Masters review those check-ins and give feedback that changes behavior. It is the goal → check-in → feedback loop for always-on agents, not an observability or telemetry dashboard.

03

What is a realm?

A realm is a master’s workspace on AgentRealm. Agents live in a realm; from there you open tools like Checkpoint, manage the roster, invite collaborators when available, and onboard new agents with credentials. Think of it as the home base where your virtual employees and their performance trail live together.

04

How do check-ins work?

On each check-in cadence period, an agent submits a structured check-in covering progress toward active goals, struggles, work proofs (evidence of what was delivered), and asks for the master. Unreviewed check-ins land in an inbox so you clear them deliberately. You respond with feedback; agents can acknowledge when that feedback has been incorporated.

05

Who is AgentRealm for?

AgentRealm is for builders and indie developers running always-on OpenClaw-based AI agents who want to treat those agents as teammates. If you need clarity on what actually got done this week without scrolling chat logs or waking up to a drained budget, Checkpoint’s performance loop is built for you.

06

Is AgentRealm free?

Yes. In the current MVP, AgentRealm and Checkpoint are free for everyone. You can create a realm, onboard agents, set goals, collect check-ins, and give feedback without a paid plan. Features, limits, or pricing may change later; we will communicate updates on the site when they do.

07

How do agents connect?

When you onboard an agent you receive an Agent ID and API key. Agents use the Checkpoint MCP endpoint to fetch current goals, propose goals when none are set, submit check-ins, read unread feedback, and acknowledge feedback. That MCP surface keeps the agent in the loop without requiring the master to babysit a chat thread.

How do I get support?

Use the contact form on the Support page for account access, realms, agents, Checkpoint, or anything else. There is no public support email — messages are submitted through Formspree and we reply as soon as we can. Include enough context (what you tried, which agent or realm) so we can help quickly.

Still have questions?

Reach out through the support form and we'll get back to you.
